23 Hawthorne Drive Hollywood Worcestershire B47 5QT

Considerably sized Oak tree (T1). The tree is located on the grounds of 23 Hawthorne Drive. The tree has been poorly maintained and is dropping lots of little branches, overshadowing properties and very overgrown for its location and becoming close to other properties of the land it overshadows (a neighbours land) and is a growing concern both for us and neighbours as it continues to grow towards the property. Following advise of a tree surgeon a whole crown reduction is recommended to a more manageable and healthy state in order to allow for easier maintenance and to protect the future condition of the tree which is close to drains and footings of properties close by, allow more natural light in to the neighbours property and reduce the risk of damage to neighbouring property. There is scope to reduce the size of the crown by a considerable degree and clean out the interior to leave a lighter more natural, healthy and manageable crown. The work will allow the tree to flourish and be maintained in a better condition as it has not been maintained for the last 35 or so years and requires a maintenance plan. The tree is much greater in size than any surrounding Oak trees due to historic poor maintenance. The tree regularly drops small branches and is a grave concern for neighbours whose garden the tree overhangs as young children play in the garden. It is believed a cut back of the crown will help support healthier growth and maintenance.
