T1 Turkey Oak (Quercus cerris) Proposed Works Height Reduction: Reduce overall height by approximately 4 metres. Crown Spread Reduction: Reduce lateral spread by approximately 2 metres. Crown Thinning: Selective thinning of the crown (approx. 15???20%) to remove crossing, suppressed, and weak branches. Justification The tree currently overshadows the property roof, significantly reducing available light. The property owner intends to install solar panels; improved light penetration is essential for efficiency. Works are intended to balance amenity value with practical use of renewable energy. The proposed reduction is modest, retaining the tree???s natural form and amenity contribution to the landscape. Compliance with BS3998:2010 Reduction cuts will be made back to suitable growth points, maintaining branch structure and avoiding flush cuts. Thinning operations will focus on removing poor-quality, crossing, or competing branches to improve crown structure and airflow. Wound size will be minimised, avoiding cuts greater than one-third of the parent branch diameter. Overall balance of the crown will be maintained to preserve the tree???s natural shape and stability. Wildlife considerations: Works will avoid nesting season and comply with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Additional Notes All works will be carried out by qualified arborists with appropriate insurance. Debris will be removed from site and disposed of responsibly. No works will affect the tree???s rooting area.

Leylandii hedge to cut back to give approx. 1 metre clearance to 2 no. lamps and post. Reasons: Trees obscuring light posts. works to allow full illumination as per highways letter request.

Re-pollard of ash tree. Tree currently stands at approximately 70 foot tall. Upward/outward growth measuring approx. 15-18 feet needs to be taken off back to the site of previous pollard. Ash will stand at approx 40-55 feet tall after re-pollarding (bearing in mind some main limbs lower on tree than others) Tree has a TPO on it. Re-pollarding to reduce size of what is a very large tree in a relatively small garden, eliminate overhang on neighbouring properties and maintain health of tree over time. David Whittle of the Council has been out to inspect and given authorisation to put in planning app.

T1 Lime - Fit 2 cobra brace systems at 16m due to include forks at 5m and 6m and cavity base running up to 2m. Crown lift to 4m to allow better view to the field. T2 Black Pine - reduce 2m from properties due to proximity to properties. Crown lift to 4m to allow better view onto field. T3 Lime - crown lift to 4m to allow better view onto field.
