T3 Silver birch fell damage to main stem by possible building work. previously has been poorly pollarded and not recovered well replant native inline with T2 T4 Prunus Fell codominant very weak stem tree in poor decline. Replant fruit tree T5 Prunus Fell / dismantle multi stemmed has one side diseased and liable to fail. Has grown in between fence boundary. May reduce to fence height to regenerate some growth if worth saving. T6 Ash tree face back by 1-2 meters and crown lift tree is in neighbours property. T7 Ash tree reduce leaning stem by 10 meters to small upright central leader as the main leaning stem is liable to fail onto property grounds.

T1 Cedar Reduce height to 1m above historic reduction points Reduce radial spread by no more than 2-3m to suitable growing points G1 reduce 2 Limes back to previous point bringing Chestnut & Holly to match.

Replacement ground floor and new first floor side extension

Tree T1 oak crown reduction on south to south west side of canopy by no more than 1.5m to suitable growth points to clear canopy from building, and crown lift to 3m from ground level to clear canopy from car port.

Proposed two storey rear extension

2 Trees at the front of the property T1 - Acer - Crown raise to match the side that has been raised previously to clear phone lines and allow more light onto homeowners land T2 - Horse Chestnut - Removal of epicormic growth from main stem again to allow more light on to the land, only epicormic growth up until the first break in the crown (lower growth only)

Construction of a front porch and formation of a wheelchair-accessible ramp with associated handrails and level landing.

T1,2,3 Lift 3 trees front of house by approx 5.2m (Beech, 2x Sycamores) T4,5 Lift two trees in the rear garden by approx 5.2m ( 2 Sycamores)

Cut back neighbours Ash B in rear to approx. fence line; Ash C in rear to raise canopy from car park to approx. 5 mtrs; Reduce canopy spread car park side by approx. 3 - 4 mtrs;

Construction of up to 9 dwellings

The trees to the front of the property are believed to have been planted in the 1980s. The tree to the left of the house (on Nash Lane) is a similar age - unknown tree type. All trees/shrubs growing directly next to the building on the High Street will be completely removed to stop the damp issues currently being experienced. The tree on Nash Lane will need to be removed to stop and more brickwork cracking (and bushes will be trimmed) I know none of these trees are subject to a tree preservation order.

T1 Oak Remove The tree works are proposed to stop the influence of the tree(s) on the soil below building foundation level and provide long term stability.to 9 Hillaire Close Birmingham B38 0AX Estimated costs of repair to the building are ?76,032.00 if the influence of the tree(s) remain and ?3,054.39 if the proposed tree works are allowed to proceed. Granting permission will limit these costs. In the event of a refusal we, or our clients, will seek to secure compensation for the additional costs incurred through Section 202(e). Should the tree/s remain the total cost of repairs will be the Superstructural repairs + Alternative method of repairs = ?79,086.39 It is the expert opinion of both the case engineer and arboriculturalist that on the balance of probabilities the supporting information demonstrates the influence of the tree(s). Note: Further monitoring results may be submitted if these become available during the course of this application
