What this application is

This TPO application proposes work to a protected tree in Redditch. Because the tree is subject to a Tree Preservation Order, written consent is required before any work is carried out.

Trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order cannot be pruned, reduced or felled without written consent from the council. This application is a request for that consent, usually because the tree is close to a property, showing signs of decline, or in need of routine crown management.

The applicant's own description is: I believe that the tree you refer to is T37 or T38 of the attached order therefore an application will be required. To clear tree from adjacent property.
